Dojo-ji Temple

Dojoji Temple is an ancient temple with many buildings and Buddhist sculptures which have been designated as National Treasures or important cultural properties. Dojoji Temple was the place where The Tale of Anchin and Princess Kiyo was passed down, which is a well known play in Noh and Kabuki. Make sure to see a Buddhist sermon that uses explanations of picture scrolls.
